Paint Requirements – Valstate HOA Design Guidelines

1. Approved Colors
You must use the paint colors originally used by the developer.
If choosing a new color, it must be in earth tones.
Trim colors: Cannot dominate the exterior.
Must stay within the same color range as the main house color.

2. When You Need Approval
Any change of paint color requires prior approval from the Design Review Committee (DRC).
If repainting in the exact same existing color, no application is required.

3. General Rules
Colors must align with zoning requirements or one of the approved Board Colors
The ARC may deny colors that do not harmonize with the neighborhood aesthetic.
Are not considered earth tones.
Create excessive contrast.

These were the 4 color scheme forms from the developers when Rancho Valencia was built in phases.
